The Best Online Christmas Events

This year many Christmas activities will be moved online. Although it will be different, this doesn’t need to be any less special. Ireland is coming together and putting on some wonderful events, all from the comfort of your own home. The kids can enjoy festive book clubs, carols, and plenty more while staying safe. It will be strange – but it’s safe to say we’ll never forget Christmas 2020. Some top picks for free activities happening all over the country and beyond, include:

Drive-in panto and movies

While we’ve concentrated on the online family events, there’s also a number of drive-in shows for all the family, including Ireland’s first drive-in panto. Alan Hughes is back as Sammy Sausages in Peter Pan, a big-screen panto event at Malahide Castle in Dublin. Also starring Jake Carter, Rob Murphy and a host of other stars, you can book tickets at panto.ie. You can also bring the family to see some big-screen Christmas classics at drive-in movies throughout the country. Retro Drive In Movies will be hosting events around the country and details of screenings are available on their website.
