Summer Camps and Activities 2022

Summer Camps and Activities 2022

After a difficult two years – the prospect of international travel and a normal summer is a welcomed one. If you’re lucky enough to be going away on holiday, or if you plan on enjoying all that Ireland has to offer there’ll probably be a few weeks of free time that you’ll be hoping to pack some fun activities into for your little ones, especially if you’re working.

Summer camps can help build confidence and teach new skills. There are plenty of options happening all over the country – from sport to drama and comedy, the variety of camps seems to be growing every year. Sonny Bears' top picks are:

There’s singing, dancing, making radio shows, stories, fancy dress and even mindfulness. Happening all over the country – be sure to speak to your local camp about what you’d love your little one to take away from the experience, a flexible camp for confidence building and growth.

They believe in fostering your child’s creativity by not only teaching them the basics of stop motion animation but also helping them build other valuable skills that relate to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths).

The course will give your children an introduction to stop motion graphics and offers a safe space to learn, share, discover and explore their creativity using stop motion animation. All materials and technology can be found around the home and all of their courses and workshops use just a mobile device, a free app and simple materials. They aim to make great animations using simple practices.
